How to make a passport size photo
- Add your photo. Use a clear, front-facing photo on a plain white or light background.
- Position it. Choose the size, zoom in and drag so the face fits the guide.
- Download. Get the single photo for online forms, or the 4×6 sheet for printing.
Printing your photos
The print sheet is a standard 4×6 inch photo (the same size as a normal photo print). Print it at any photo shop or on a home printer using 4×6 photo paper, and choose actual size / 100%, not "fit to page". With the 35 × 45 mm size you get 8 photos, enough for most applications.
Indian passport photo rules
The Indian passport photo is 35 × 45 mm with a plain white background, the face covering about 80% of the photo, both ears visible, eyes open and a neutral expression. No glasses with glare, caps or shadows. Check the official Passport Seva guidelines before you apply.
