How it works
The tool saves your photo as a high-quality JPG, then adds empty padding inside the file until it reaches the size you chose. The picture itself, its width and height, and how it looks don't change at all. The result is a normal JPG that online forms accept.
This is useful when a form says something like "photo between 20 KB and 50 KB" and your photo is only 12 KB. Choose the minimum (20 KB), and the file comes out just above it.
Need to make it smaller instead?
If your photo is too big, use the JPEG compressor to bring it under the maximum.

When a form asks for a minimum and a maximum size
Some forms ask for a photo between two sizes, for example at least 20 KB and at most 50 KB. If your file is too small, use this page to raise it to the minimum. If it is too big, use the JPEG compressor to bring it under the maximum. Check the final size before you upload, because forms count a kilobyte slightly differently.
What this does not change
The tool adds empty data inside the file. It does not make the picture sharper or change its width and height. If a form also asks for a particular width and height, set those first with the photo and signature resizer, then raise the file size.
If the upload is still rejected
Check the file type (JPG or JPEG), the width and height, and the size on the form's instructions. Try saving the photo again from the original, not from an already compressed copy, and make sure the file name has no special characters.
Frequently asked questions
How do I increase my photo size to 50 KB?
Add your photo above, and the tool saves a copy that is just above 50 KB. Download it and upload it to your form.
Does increasing the KB change my photo?
No. The width, height and appearance stay the same. Only the file size changes.
Will the form accept the file?
Yes, it's a standard JPG. Check that the width and height also match your form if it asks for exact dimensions.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to any server.
